Power Reduction - Scorpion tips are thinner than the OEM (Original Equipment
Manufacturer) tips and require less of a power input.
Improved Patient Comfort - They also respond to the lightest pressure which

Wear Indicator - The tips have a thin (2μm) ceramic visual wear indicator
(Titanium Nitride) shown in the image to the right.
Superior Steel - Scorpion produces a very high quality ultrasonic tip made in
France from the same steel that is used for PDT hand scalers. Scorpion are the
only ultrasonic tips endorsed by PDT in the USA.
Tips are available for: Satelec, EMS, NSK, Kavo, Vista and Sirona scalers.
