Grafting with ethOss event at Celtic Manor

ethOss Announces Latest Course Date

We are delighted to announce the latest ethOss event will take place on Saturday 12 June 2021 at the world-famous Celtic Manor in Newport, Wales.

Hosted by world-renowned clinician and ethOss® co-founder Peter Fairbairn, the course, entitled Grafting with ethOss®, will focus on grafting techniques using synthetic regeneration materials (ethOss). The day will also feature guest speaker and experienced implantologist Michael Ainsworth, who will present cases and protocols when working with ethOss®.

Running from 9am until 4.30pm, the course is open to clinicians who are new to working with ethOss® and eager to learn the basics, as well as those who are looking for advanced tips and techniques.

Morning and Afternoon Sessions

Commencing at 9.15am, the morning session will examine a number of introductory topics, including combining "True Bone Regeneration" grafting techniques with ethOss® to achieve predictable, optimal outcomes.

Event hosts Dr Fairbairn and Dr Ainsworth will be on hand to provide in-depth case studies and detail their own clinical experiences, with topics including:

  • Why “True Bone Regeneration”? Overview of research and personal experiences
  • Graft material selection – how to choose
  • Removing the traditional collagen membrane
  • Applying this ethos to a wide variety of clinical situations

The afternoon session, which runs from 1.00pm until 4.30pm, will focus on more advanced subjects, such as using ethOss® in challenging, advanced grafting procedures where “routine” techniques may be insufficient.

Each speaker will present their own unique case studies detailing their own clinical experiences, as well as addressing a range of innovative techniques including:

  • “Tenting” with resorbable sutures to increase graft stability
  • Tunnel grafting
  • Using ethOss to treat cysts and apicectomies
  • Combining ethOss with densification burs
  • Partial Extraction Therapy

Each session will conclude with a question-and-answer opportunity, allowing you to quiz both Peter Fairbairn and Michael Ainsworth on their work and techniques when using ethOss.

The whole course carries up to 6 hours of verifiable CPD.
