Return of EthOss® Training Days Proves a Huge Success

We were thrilled to attend the latest EthOss® Training Day in Edinburgh, bringing together EthOss® users from across the clinical community.

The interactive masterclass, which took place on Saturday 22 May 2021, was held at Edinburgh’s stunning Carlowrie Castle, widely considered to be one of Scotland’s finest venues. Hosted by EthOss® Clinical Director Dr Peter Fairbairn, the event was the first of its kind since lockdown rules were relaxed across the UK.

Those in attendance heard presentations from Dr Fairbairn and special guest speaker Dr Jenny Kabir. The day, which comprised of beginner and advanced sessions, focused on a number of EthOss® applications and techniques to help dental practitioners who were looking to use the material in more challenging and complex cases.

Attendees were treated to talks on a wide range of subjects, including graft material selection, tunnel grafting, using ethOss to treat cysts and apicectomies, and partial extraction therapy.

Each session concluded with a Q & A session, allowing those in attendance the opportunity to ask Dr Fairbairn and Dr Kabir a series of insightful questions regarding their experiences of using EthOss® Synthetic bone graft material.

Speaking after the event, Dr Fairbairn, said: “It was fantastic to meet delegates in person again, in such an impressive location at Carlowrie Castle.

“Hosting training days and events is a key part of what we do at EthOss but the challenges of the pandemic have meant we’ve had to adapt and move a lot of what we do online.

“While we’ve been thrilled with how our webinar sessions have been received over the last year or so, face-to-face events just cannot be beaten and it’s a great feeling to be back out on the road, showcasing the benefits of EthOss® in person.

“We have more events planned, both here in the UK and hopefully internationally, too.”
