Sell-Out 'Grafting with EthOss®' Proves Successful
We were delighted to attend the latest EthOss® Training Day at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales. The interactive masterclass, which took place on Saturday 12 June 2021, brought together EthOss® users from across the clinical community.
Hosted by EthOss® Clinical Director Dr Peter Fairbairn, the sell-out event was held in the Samuel Ryder Suite of The Twenty Ten Clubhouse, a spacious room that overlooks the final hole of Celtic Manor’s world-famous golf course and offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Joining Dr Fairbairn was guest speaker and experienced implantologist, Dr Michael Ainsworth. Together, the duo presented beginner and advanced sessions focused on a number of EthOss® applications and techniques designed to help dental practitioners looking to use the material in more challenging and complex cases.
Those in attendance were treated to talks on a wide range of subjects, including reviews of ethOss case studies, resorbable suture tenting techniques and tunnel grafting. Practical, hands-on activities were also available.
The session concluded with a Q & A session, allowing those in attendance the opportunity to ask Dr Fairbairn and Dr Ainsworth a series of insightful questions regarding their experiences of using EthOss®.
Speaking after the event, Dr Fairbairn, said: “Newport’s event marked the second face-to-face meeting we’ve held in 2021 since restrictions eased here in the UK.
“Tickets sold out fast, showing that there is a real demand for in-person training days, providing people with the opportunity to ask questions and learn as a group, as well as to network with their peers.
“We’re looking forward to rolling out more events later in the year, both in the UK and internationally, too, complementing our popular online EthOss Academy webinars and workshops.”
