Similar to Vicryl absorbable sutures, 4-0 Ethicon Vicryl Plus Sutures feature an additional coating that enables antibacterial protection.
The handling and performance of each suture are identical to Vicryl. As with Vicryl, flaking is prevented by a coating that is unique to the Vicryl sutures. This also ensures a smooth tissue passage.
