Acteon SILKY Perio Powder is a premium glycine-based air polishing powder developed for gentle yet highly effective subgingival biofilm removal. Specifically formulated for use with the Acteon OPUS Silky Pen Air Polisher, it provides predictable cleaning during periodontal and peri-implant maintenance while preserving delicate soft tissues, enamel and root surfaces.
Manufactured with an ultra-fine 25 μm particle size, Silky Perio Powder delivers low-abrasive cleaning that is ideal for periodontal pockets, implant maintenance and patients with sensitive oral tissues. The naturally occurring amino acid glycine offers excellent biocompatibility while effectively disrupting biofilm with minimal discomfort.
Supplied in a convenient pack of four 140g bottles, each bottle features Acteon's EasyLock design for quick installation and replacement. When used with the OPUS system, RFID technology automatically recognises the powder type and selects the appropriate treatment settings, helping streamline workflow and reduce the risk of user error.
The sealed bottle design minimises dust, prevents contamination and allows virtually complete use of the powder with minimal waste.
