The Devemed Dr. Henriette Lerner Anatomical Micro-Tissue Forceps are designed for the delicate and controlled handling of soft tissue during periodontal, implant and oral surgical procedures.
Featuring a straight, smooth working end with a fine 0.8 mm width, the forceps are particularly suitable for gently holding the gingival flap during passive wound closure.
Unlike toothed or strongly serrated forceps, the smooth working surfaces are designed to provide atraumatic tissue handling. If excessive traction or pressure is applied, the tissue can slip from the forceps rather than being firmly compressed, helping to minimise the risk of tissue trauma and potential impairment of vascularisation.
The fine micro profile supports precise manipulation of delicate gingival tissues, making the instrument particularly suited to procedures where careful flap management and preservation of the soft tissue blood supply are important.
