Mayo-Hegar Straight Needle Holder
The Devemed Mayo-Hegar Needle Holders with Tungsten Carbide (TC) inserts are designed for secure needle handling and controlled suturing during dental and oral surgical procedures.
Featuring traditional ring handles, the instruments provide a comfortable and secure grip for precise guidance and control throughout the suturing procedure. An integrated ratchet locking mechanism, positioned between the handle rings, allows the jaws to be securely locked at different stages, helping to maintain consistent gripping pressure on the needle.
The jaws feature durable tungsten carbide (TC) inserts, providing enhanced grip and friction for secure needle retention while helping to reduce unwanted movement or rotation. The TC inserts also offer excellent resistance to wear for reliable long-term clinical performance.
Available in a choice of lengths, the Mayo-Hegar range allows clinicians to select the appropriate instrument according to the treatment area and required reach. Longer versions provide improved access to posterior areas of the oral cavity, while shorter models offer compact handling and precise control.
Suitable for suture sizes 2-0 to 4-0, the Mayo-Hegar Needle Holders provide a versatile solution for a wide range of surgical suturing procedures.
Available sizes: 140 mm | 160 mm | 180 mm | 200 mm
