Implantmed Plus II Surgical Unit
Implantmed Plus II from W&H is a smart, next‑generation surgical motor system for oral surgery and implantology, designed to act as a genuine assistant in the operating theatre. It combines a powerful EM‑19 LC micromotor with digital workflow integration to support everything from routine implant placement to complex extractions and augmentation procedures.
Why Choose the W&H Implantmed Plus II
Smart assistance for advanced implantology – designed as a “must‑have” assistant for implant insertion, extractions and complex oral surgery.
High‑performance EM‑19 LC motor – up to 6.2 Ncm motor torque with 200–40,000 rpm speed range for demanding surgical and implant procedures.
Precisely controlled torque – adjustable insertion torque typically from 5–80 Ncm (with appropriate handpiece) plus automatic torque control and dedicated thread‑cutting function for dense bone.
Powerful irrigation system – integrated pump delivering around 90 ml/min coolant at full output to help avoid bone overheating during drilling.
7" colour display & intuitive UI – large, bright screen with optimised interface for simple, guided operation and excellent treatment overview.
Intelligent Light‑Guide – clear LED indication of the selected application for instant orientation, even in busy or stressful situations.
Integrated Scan‑Edition option – on SI‑2102 models, the built‑in scanner captures implant and biomaterial packaging, automating documentation and traceability via ioDent.
ioDent® smart connection – built‑in Wi‑Fi for connection to W&H’s digital platform, providing a device logbook, remote software updates, planning‑software presets and automatic recording of treatment data (including ISQ values via Osstell Beacon).
Two‑in‑one OSI platform – simple slide‑on integration with Piezomed module Plus II for combined ultrasonic bone surgery and implant motor in a single, compact system.
Choice of configurations – available as Scan‑Edition (SI‑2102), “wireless” with wireless foot control (SI‑2101) or “wired” with cabled foot control (SI‑2100), all supplied with EM‑19 LC motor, stand, universal support and irrigation tubing.
The unit delivers up to 6.2 Ncm torque at the motor with a wide speed range of 200–40,000 rpm, giving smooth, controlled cutting in all bone qualities. An integrated pump provides a coolant flow of at least 90 ml/min at full setting to help prevent thermal damage during osteotomy preparation. When combined with suitable 20:1 contra‑angle handpieces, torque can be set between 5 and 80 Ncm, allowing safe, controlled insertion of virtually all major implant systems.
A large 7" colour display and redesigned intuitive user interface make protocol selection, parameter adjustment and monitoring straightforward, even under pressure. The Intelligent Light‑Guide on the front of the unit gives an instant visual indication of the current application, helping the whole team stay oriented at a glance.
In the Scan‑Edition, an integrated scanner works with the ioDent® cloud platform to automatically capture implant and biomaterial data from QR codes or barcodes, creating a digital “implant passport” and eliminating much of the manual documentation burden. Built‑in Wi‑Fi and ioDent connectivity also provide a digital device logbook, remote software updates and easy sharing of treatment data, including ISQ values when combined with Osstell Beacon for real‑time stability monitoring.
Thanks to the modular OSI platform, the Implantmed Plus II can be combined with the Piezomed module Plus II via a simple slide‑on connection – no extra cables or power supply – giving ultrasonic bone surgery and implantology in one compact, future‑ready system controlled from the same 7" screen.
