Resorba Seminar – Oral Surgery Theory and Practice
We are pleased to announce our partners at Resorba will be hosting a hands-on seminar on oral surgery and practice that will take place on 21 and 22 October 2022 in Split, Croatia.
Taking place at the stunning Radisson Blu, the seminar will be led by Juraj Brozovic, DMD, PhD, Asst Professor and world-renowned specialist in oral surgery.
About the Seminar
The Resorba Seminar is an intensive two-day event that will feature a blend of theoretical and hands-on masterclasses on defect repairs.
The first module - The Six-Zero Standard: A Microsurgical Approach to Wound Management – will focus on wound healing biology, with a thorough insight into suturing materials. This will be followed by step-by-step guidance through microsurgical suturing techniques.
The second module - Predictable Bone Grafting in Implant Dentistry – will provide participants with clinical and scientific background on ridge defects, together with an understanding of different grafting procedures deemed predictable for in-office use.
The module will include detailed surgical steps and demonstrations of Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR). Participants will then be offered the opportunity to carry out the procedure to regenerate a contained defect and achieve soft tissue closure by microsurgical means.
Please note that the seminar will be conducted in English.
About the Lecturer
As a multi-award-winning oral surgeon, Juraj Brozovic is well-placed to front the Resorba Seminar.
Having graduated top of his class from Zagreb School of Dental Medicine, Juraj gained his PhD in innovation in dental implant biomechanics research (Dental Materials).
Now a specialist in Oral Surgery at a private dental office in Split, he also lectures around the world on advanced oral grafting procedures and implant dentistry.
Juraj’s other achievements include:
- Assistant Professor at Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health
- Author of scientific and clinical papers in internationally recognized journals
- Global opinion leader & Lecturer
- Member of Croatian Society for Oral Surgery Executive Board, Croatian Society for Dental Implantology & Croatian Medical Association
