Bone Holding Forceps, 175 mm
The Devemed Bone Holding Forceps – 175 mm are designed for the secure positioning and fixation of bone blocks during dental implant and bone augmentation procedures.
Particularly suitable for fixing a bone block onto a jaw defect, the forceps allow the graft to be securely held while it is pre-drilled and subsequently fixed with screws. This enables drilling and fixation to be carried out without changing the grip on the bone block, helping to maintain accurate positioning throughout the procedure.
The curved design provides controlled access to the surgical site, while the serrated jaws provide enhanced grip on the bone block, helping to minimise unwanted movement during preparation and fixation.
An integrated ratchet locking mechanism allows the forceps to be adjusted and secured in stages, maintaining consistent holding pressure while freeing the clinician to perform drilling and screw placement.
Measuring 175 mm in overall length, the instrument provides excellent reach, leverage and controlled handling during bone grafting procedures.
