The Devemed Crane-Caplan Periodontal Marking Forceps – Right are designed for the precise marking of incision points and measurement of periodontal pocket depths during periodontal surgical procedures.
The specialised Crane-Caplan design allows incision points to be established orally and vestibularly, helping clinicians accurately transfer periodontal pocket measurements to the outer surface of the gingiva when planning tissue incisions.
This right-sided configuration features a smooth left jaw and a curved marking tip on the right jaw. The marking tip supports accurate identification of the required incision position according to the measured pocket depth.
Measuring 15 cm in overall length, the forceps feature a graduated scale with markings at 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 9 mm, supporting precise periodontal measurement and controlled clinical handling.
