The Devemed Bernard Root Elevator 4.0 mm – Left Curved is designed for the precise removal of fractured roots and retained root remnants during dental extraction procedures. Combining the properties of a root tip elevator and Periolux, it enables clinicians to separate periodontal ligament fibres while progressively mobilising the retained root.
Featuring a 4.0 mm working end curved to the left, the instrument provides targeted access to areas where a straight working end may be more difficult to position. The working end features a concave inner surface with sharp cutting edges, supporting precise engagement and controlled ligament separation.
Using gentle pressure and controlled rotational movements, the Bernard Root Elevator helps separate the periodontal ligament and progressively loosen the root remnant from the surrounding tissues. Its specialised curved profile provides excellent access and tactile control, supporting a precise and minimally traumatic approach to root removal.
