The Devemed Bernard Root Elevator 4.0 mm is designed for the precise removal of fractured roots and retained root remnants during dental extraction procedures. Combining the functions of a root elevator and periotome, it enables clinicians to separate periodontal ligament fibres while simultaneously mobilising the retained root.

Featuring a 4.0 mm working end, the instrument has a concave inner surface with sharp lateral edges. Using controlled rotational movements and gentle pressure, the cutting edges help separate the periodontal ligament while progressively loosening the root remnant from the surrounding tissues.

This dual-purpose design supports a controlled and minimally traumatic extraction technique, helping to preserve the surrounding bone and soft tissues wherever possible. The specialised working profile provides secure engagement, excellent tactile sensitivity and precise control during root removal.
