Dr. Marcelo Ferrer received his degree in Dentistry and his title of Dental Surgeon at the University of Chile in 2000. After his postgraduate training at Universidad Andres Bello he received his degree of Master in Dentistry with specialization in Periodontics and lmplantology.
With more than 17 years of teaching experience, he has been part of the faculty of the Prosthetics Dept. in the University of Chile, of the Adult lntegrated Preclinical Department in the Universidad Mayor and of the Faculty of Dentistry, University Andres Bello, in the area of Periodontics and lmplantology, both in Pre and Postgraduate courses since 2003.
Currently, he exercises in his private practice and as National Director of the Postgraduate Course in Periodontics and Surgical lmplantology at San Sebastian University. National and International Speaker for more than 10 years. Director of South Cone lmplantology Training Center Chile and Dental Xp Expert for some years.
Dr. Ferrer is an active member of the American Academy of Osseointegration, member of the Society of Periodontology and of the Society for Prosthetics and Oral Rehabilitation of Chile.
