AnyCheck Tapping Rod
The tapping rod (also called the percussion or tapping tip) is the detachable metal tip affixed to the AnyCheck handheld implant stability meter’s body.
It allows direct tapping contact with the top of the healing abutment, enabling implant stability measurement without removing the prosthetic component.
Made to be autoclavable and replaceable, this tip is essential for maintaining hygiene and accuracy over repeated clinical use.
The rod is designed to operate within a 0°–30° angle relative to vertical—if the angle is exceeded, the device will beep and refuse to measure, preventing error.
Its light tapping action requires fewer hits (up to six taps or two for weak stability) and delivers approximately 30% less force than comparable percussion testers, minimizing patient discomfort and risk.
