Swallow Dental Introduces Directa Luxator Range
This spring, we are excited to introduce a new brand to our ever-increasing range of products. Luxator from Directa Dental offers a comprehensive range of instruments designed to significantly improve the extraction process.
About Directa Luxator
Widely recognised as one of the world’s leading dental instrument brands, Luxator dental instruments are discernibly different to others on the market.
Manufactured in Sweden, Luxator instruments are carefully crafted from Scandinavian stainless steel. This use of high-quality, medical-grade materials ensures the instruments are extremely durable and retain their strength and sharpness after repeated use and sterilisation.
The finely tapered blades of the Luxator Periotomes compress the alveolar, cut the membrane, and gently ease the tooth from its socket reducing damage to surrounding tissue. This significantly minimises damage to the surrounding tissues and reduces bone loss around the implant site ahead of surgery.
Each instrument in the Periotome range incorporates an ergonomic handle design intended to provide maximum comfort and aid precision. The shape and size of the handle minimises the force required and contributes towards a safer and more successful extraction.
Each instrument comes complete with a Fixus 1 storage case. This fully autoclavable container ensures your Luxator Periotome remains safe and secure between treatments.
The Luxator range also features additional tools to support the extraction process. The Luxator Forte Elevator is the perfect companion to the Periotome to aid any procedure. The unique corner design grips the dentine or root cementum to provide a controlled tooth elevation.
Additional debris can be cleared from the site using the Luxator RootPicker. Available with straight or angled tips, the unique design of the RootPicker ensures smaller or slippery tooth fragments don’t escape capture.
