The Devemed Bernard Root Elevator 4.0 mm – Straight, H-Type D is designed for the precise removal of fractured roots and retained root remnants during dental extraction procedures. Combining the functions of a root tip elevator and Periolux, it enables clinicians to separate periodontal ligament fibres and mobilise retained roots using a single instrument.
Featuring a 4.0 mm straight working end, the Bernard Root Elevator has a concave inner surface with sharp cutting edges. Using controlled rotational movements and gentle pressure, the working end helps separate the periodontal ligament while progressively loosening the root remnant from the surrounding tissues.
The H-Type D design provides secure handling and precise control during use, while the specialised working profile supports a controlled and minimally traumatic approach to root removal. This can help preserve surrounding bone and soft tissues during extraction procedures.
