The Devemed Sharpening Stone Oil – 200 ml is designed for use with sharpening stones when maintaining dental curettes and other compatible hand instruments. The oil helps provide a clean, effective sharpening surface while preventing grinding debris from becoming embedded within the stone.
Simply apply a small amount of oil to the sharpening stone before use. During sharpening, grinding dust is captured within the oil, allowing the residue to be easily wiped away with a cloth afterwards. This helps keep the stone clean and ready for continued use.
Sharpening dry or with water can allow grinding particles to penetrate the stone, making it increasingly difficult to clean and potentially reducing its usable life. Regular use of Sharpening Stone Oil helps maintain the condition and effectiveness of the sharpening stone, supporting consistent instrument maintenance and long-term performance.
