PDT O'Hehir 7-8 Pre Molar Curette
The PDT O’Hehir 7-8 is designed for mesial/distal surfaces. Featuring a small scoop, the instrument allows greater access to deep, narrow periodontal pockets.
Part of PDT’s celebrated O'Hehir New Millennium™ Series, the O’Hehir 7-8‘s unique scoop blades have 270° radiused cutting edges; this allows the blade to be sharp on teeth but smooth on gums.
Each PDT O’Hehir instrument is anatomically colour-coded for faster and easier identification during procedures.
PDT O’Hehir 7-8 Pre-Molar Curette
The PDT O’Hehir 7-8 can be used with either a push or pull motion, in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal direction; this results in far more effective calculus removal.
Once subgingival, the instrument’s scoop continues to move in multiple directions, allowing for further effortless calculus removal with very little patient discomfort and no tissue trauma.

As well as being amongst the lightest instruments on the market, PDT dental hand instrument blades are renowned for being thinner, sharper and harder wearing.
By perfectly combining heat treatment and cryogenics, PDT is able to manufacture stainless steel blades with a uniform molecular grain structure. This results in sturdier, more durable instruments that require sharpening less often.
Ergonomically designed to meet the demands of the modern dental practice, each instrument is crafted from lightweight resin. Weighing only 13 grams, PDT instruments feature extended knurling for greater control and improved manoeuvrability which allows for superior tactile sensitivity during use.
