PGA Resoquick Sutures
Resorba Resoquick sutures are made from a high molecular weight, linear homopolymer of glycolic acid (polyglycolic acid, PGA), expertly braided into fine, precision filaments. Designed for rapid absorption, these sutures provide excellent wound support during the critical healing phase.

Rapid Absorption: Thanks to a special heat treatment that reduces molecular weight, Resoquick sutures absorb faster than standard PGA sutures. They lose 56% of their tensile strength within 7 days, completely losing it by 14 days, with full absorption occurring in approximately 42 days.
High Tensile Strength & Flexibility: The fine braided filaments ensure exceptional strength and suppleness, providing secure tissue approximation and smooth passage through tissue.
Special Coating: A thin layer of calcium stearate and polycaprolactone reduces surface friction, enhancing ease of handling and minimising tissue trauma.
Minimal Tissue Reaction: The material is well tolerated, inducing minimal inflammatory response.
