Supramid Sutures
Resorba Supramid sutures are high-quality, non-absorbable surgical sutures designed for reliable wound closure.
It is available as a monofilament made from a copolymer of polyamide 6 and polyamide 6.6, providing excellent handling and minimal tissue reaction.
Despite its synthetic origin and peptide-like structure, Supramid sutures gradually degrade after being in tissue for an extended period. Therefore, it is primarily suitable for skin sutures or tissues that do not require permanent wound support, with few exceptions.
