PGA Resorba Sutures
PGA Resorba is a high-performance, absorbable surgical suture made from polyglycolic acid (PGA). Synthesised from glycolide, a cyclic ester, PGA Resorba gradually breaks down in tissue through water uptake and enzymatic degradation, ultimately metabolising into CO₂ and H₂O.
Sutures containing 10% lactide as a copolymer show only minimal differences in physical and physiological properties compared with pure PGA sutures.
Available in boxes of 24, these sutures ensure reliable performance and consistent quality for surgical procedures.
